This new home is carefully situated within Louisville’s historic Irish Hill neighborhood and was positioned to capture views of the downtown skyline. The owners had requested a modern, functional home for their blended family, utilizing a clean style, natural materials, and Japanese site design elements. The floor plan wraps around an existing mature White Oak tree, and the bend provides separation between the children’s bedrooms and the shared living and kitchen areas. The primary suite on the second floor provides valued privacy and stunning views among the trees and to the city beyond.
